Department of Veterans Services | Veterans Hall of Fame - Class of 1992

Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame

The first class of the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame was inducted on Thursday November 5, 1992 in a ceremony held at the Statehouse Rotunda. Governor Voinovich presented the inaugural class of the Hall of Fame. Six United States Presidents from Ohio with military service and almost all of Ohio's Medal of Honor recipients were inducted into this first class. Below are photographs of the Presidents and three of Ohio's Medal of Honor recipients who were inducted in that year. Some Medal of Honor recipients were discovered after the first class was inducted in 1992 and have been added to other classes.
